One of the best chocolate stores outside of Paris is  'Cocoa Atelier' on Dury st next to Powerscourt town house it  is managed and run by the beautiful Kate Saul.
We have had the pleasure of working along side Cocoa Atelier on many weddings and events  as they supply and create  the most delicous Chocolate sweets and dessert ideas for weddings & events.

Kate got married last Summer on a beautiful Summers day, the countryside was lush and summer flowers
all in bloom. It was the only request Kate had for her flowers that they had look natural and not to formal. We used  herbacoues border type blooms and beech foliage.

The Easter egg selection from Cocoa Altelier this year is great I enclosed a link to their page and picture.

I know were I would like my  Easter egg from this year now which one ?

Rain Showers on a June Wedding

Last Spring I had a visit from Neasa her wedding was June coming in the Clarence Hotel
in Dublin.
Her only request was that everything was green and plenty of foliages to be used to give
texture and informal garden look to the arrangments and bouquets.

We used a mixture of  Hydrangea,Rosemary,Thymus,Poppy seed head,Lisanthus
Grape seed and chyrs. green bloom .

Table arrangements were done in little Zinc pots that we sell here in the store along with other
table,church  and wedding decorations.

There was plenty of rain showers that day in June but it made for some great photographys.

Event Flowers

Over the last few years we have worked with many event companies on various events helping them create beautiful feature display gardens and floral displays.

Last summer we created the beautiful garden theme flowers for the launch of the Kildare Village
Summer Festival.

Whitney Port fashion designer and from Mtv's hit Programe The Hills and the The City launched her
book and designed a Tote bag for the Kildare summer festival too.We used the tote bag as the inspiration of the flower displays with wild garden flowers in hot colours to pick up on the neon colours
in the Tote bag that Whitney had designed for Kildare village shopping outlet.

We worked along side Xena Productions for this event.

We also had the pleasure of Whitney Port visiting  our store.

Ruth & Jamie

August just gone I packed up the van with vintage frames ,tea cups and mirrors and old leather suitcases (The flowers had been delivered straight there)and took the long road trip down to Ballinskelligs Co.Kerry once the motorway part was over the views were unreal out towards the atlantic. The marque was up on arrival and we were all set to create Ruth s dream of a vintage tea cup party theme for her special day.
She wanted the marque to have a soft jet fun theme so I used Greenfashion RoseS, Hydrangeas, Astrantia, Astible with some lavander to go with the china and the dolly matts etc.
For the church we went with off whites and white Astible and some sweet pea and gyp in zinc and jam jars. Ruth had got some lovely lace ribbon from A.rubanesque here in powerscourt town house which we used for bows and wrapping the Bouquets.
Her bouquet was all whites with a mixture of vintage roses, astible and sweetpea , in keeping with dress.
It was a very wild wet day before the wedding but the sun came out the morning of the day just as ruth made her way to the church on Valentia Island were Jamie was waiting !
Ballinskelligs is a wonderful part of Ireland and beautiful place to get married.
